Council voted to reapply to the Ford Family Foundation and to put out a request for bids to renovate an existing building for the fire station; USDA funding would require the city to spend $50,000 before using grant money.

Seneca officials moved to restart grant-seeking and procurement steps for a proposed fire-station renovation. Manager Amanda Born told the council representatives at the Ford Family Foundation invited the city to reapply because the project scope changed from new construction to renovating an existing building.
