Council hears request to support Broadband Coalition grant application
Seneca council was asked to provide a letter of support for a Broadband Coalition grant application led by GEODC; the coalition hopes to include regional stakeholders and disaster-affected communities in the proposal.

Councilor Josh Walker told the council the Broadband Coalition is working with the city of John Day and county communications stakeholders on a grant that is available to communities affected by natural disasters. "They would like City of Seneca to write a letter of support for this grant," Walker said, and he said the Greater Eastern Oregon Development Coalition (GEODC) will likely submit the application and contact city staff.
