Ryan Holcomb delivered the engineering report at the Aug. 27 meeting, saying the Phase IV sewer project held its first construction progress meeting and that staff are working to add three customers near Sandy’s Hardware to the contract pending environmental clearance and DEP approval. He reported Phase V of the sewer project is on hold for the time being.
Holcomb also said the Route 20 Corridor work is proceeding through a DEP permit modification that must be completed before the town can advertise for bids. For the AML-Phase I AMD contract, closeout activities are underway and Change Order #3 for additional paving and screening is forthcoming; Phase II AMD is at the NEPA environmental assessment stage and the draft has been prepared for submission. These items will determine near-term construction schedules and any forthcoming pay applications or change orders.
