Councilors discussed Ordinance #2024-12, an ordinance that would prohibit camping on public property and unauthorized private property in the town. Council members emphasized the need to compile resources so those tasked with enforcing the ordinance would have a clear pathway for assistance and alternatives; after that discussion Councilor Charlene Louk moved to table the ordinance until more information could be gathered. Recorder Natalie Haddix seconded the motion and the council approved the tabling by unanimous vote.
