Mayor CJ Linda said city engineers reported the Chambers Connector project is currently under a stop‑work order and that crews are limited to maintaining traffic control and pedestrian routes while awaiting railroad authorization. "This project is under a stop work order and is not performing any work besides maintaining slash adjusting traffic control of pedestrian accessible routes as necessary," she said.
