Commissioners approve district budgets after brief packet-scan issue

At the Sept. 10 meeting, commissioners approved district budgets submitted for several local special districts as a single package.
Staff read totals for multiple districts (examples in the record include Eureka Cemetery District at 70,418; Eureka area dispatch 460,868; Libby Park District 91,584.64; Lincoln County Rural Fire District number one listed as 947,147.95; Lincoln Conservation District 317,631.51; Troy Park District 59,540.30). The commissionor leading the package motion said he had reviewed the materials and moved to approve them as submitted. Another commissioner seconded and the package passed by voice vote.
Commissioners noted one scanned budget packet (McCormick Rural Volunteer Fire District) was too fuzzy to confirm a precise total; staff said they would verify the correct figure and report back. The board did not alter appropriations during the meeting.
