The Cherokee County Board of Zoning Appeals voted 4–0 to allow the applicant in case 205420B to withdraw the application without prejudice after staff reported the applicant had revised plans to avoid a previously requested buffer variance. Staff member (speaker 3) told the board a neighbor had raised drainage concerns at an earlier meeting and said the applicant worked with county staff and the neighbor to move plantings out of the stream buffer and to limit on‑site work in the buffer to hand labor.
