Council amends levy-resolution language, introduces ODOT, NOPEC and Hiram Community Trust measures
At the June 23 meeting council introduced several resolutions on first reading, including authorizing participation in ODOT road salt contracts, accepting a NOPEC Energized Community Grant, submitting a levy renewal question (Resolution 2026-06) with amended valuation and revenue figures, and applying for Hiram Community Trust grant funds.

Council introduced multiple resolutions on first reading. Resolution 2026-04 would authorize participation in the ODOT 2026 road salt contracts; the minutes note a special council meeting planned for July 14, 2026 in connection with that item. Resolution 2026-05 would authorize acceptance of a NOPEC 2026 Energized Community Grant and was read with an emergency clause on first reading.
