Council approves formal application for Northern Border Catalyst grant for Pavilion Project (50% match, no city funds requested)

Robyn Newton, representing the Pavilion Project and the city's Parks & Recreation Committee, briefed the council that the committee has submitted a pre-application to the Northern Border Regional Commission Catalyst Program and sought approval to formally apply. Newton said the project requires a 50% match but that the committee is not requesting city funding; they will continue fundraising to provide the match if awarded.
