Matthew Levitt presented an administrative item to place the emergency‑services sales tax into the county code. "Back in 2024, the voters approved the emergency services sales tax, which was a point 5% increase in our local sales tax," Levitt said, and explained the ordinance formally enacts Title 3, Chapter 3K to mirror prior voter action and the Tax Commission’s administrative steps.
