Broken Arrow Seniors reports record membership growth, expanded programming and new after‑hours classes

Broken Arrow Seniors reported nearly 3,200 members, average daily attendance around 546 in May, 24,256 meals served in 2024, and plans to extend programming until 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays with a memory‑cafe pilot in August.

Representatives of Broken Arrow Seniors updated council on membership growth, expanded programming and community engagement. Lori Hill (speaker 16) introduced Kim Crenshaw (speaker 17), who said the center's active membership is just under 3,200 and that May daily attendance averaged roughly 546 people. Crenshaw noted a growth in programming — more than 115 weekly classes — and heavy volunteer engagement: "We clocked over 24,000 hours of volunteerism either in the center or in our community this year," she said.
