County Manager Michael Silverman presented a draft request for proposals (RFP) on April 14 to hire consultant assistance to update Yadkin County’s Land Use Plan. Silverman said the cost depends on the scope: minor clean‑ups might cost roughly $30,000–$50,000, while a comprehensive rewrite could approach $150,000. He said the RFP would specify options and costs and that the County could choose not to accept any proposals if prices are too high.
