Commissioners ask staff for more details on RHIDs and data-center concerns
Commissioner Becky Reimer asked staff to provide detailed information about existing RHID and TIF districts in Harvey County, and public comment raised concerns about data centers' water use; County Clerk Rick Piepho agreed to prepare a report with start dates, terms, valuations and distributions for existing districts.

During commissioner comments Becky Reimer said she and Commissioner Don Schroeder had attended a presentation on reinvestment housing incentive districts (RHIDs) and tax increment financing and asked for more detailed information about the county's existing RHID and TIF districts, including start dates, terms, valuations and distributions. County Clerk Rick Piepho agreed to prepare a report with the requested criteria.
