On the agenda Dec. 22, commissioners voted to deny seismic exploration on the Expo Center parcel. Commissioner Kyle Workman moved to deny seismic exploration, Commissioner T. J. Foley seconded the motion, and the minutes record that "MOTION CARRIED." The court recorded the denial as the formal outcome for the seismic survey proposal.
