The Macon County Commission voted to solicit and receive solid-waste proposals for county solid-waste services, directing that proposals be returned for review by the June regular meeting and that the chairman review submissions. The May 23 and June 11 continuation minutes record the commission's direction to receive proposals and set the timelines for review; the June 10 minutes list submissions including Waste Management and "121 Disposal."
