Commissioners pressed for a status update on a recommendation letter sent to the Mayor regarding accessibility at the Maui County Building, 200 S. High Street in Wailuku. Commissioner David Tallant suggested reaching out again after no response had been received; Commissioner Victor Lesa and others urged persistence. County Executive Rowena Dagdag‑Andaya said the response would likely come from another department, such as Public Works, and reassured the commission that the delay was not due to the retirement of Director Tsuhako.
