Butler County approved a $1,061,223.27 contract with B and B Bridge Company for replacement of bridge 24N9-23-4 over the East Branch Whitewater River; the bid was 7.5% over the engineer's estimate and within statutory limits.

Butler County commissioners authorized a contract with B and B Bridge Company, LLC for $1,061,223.27 to replace bridge structure 24N9-23-4 (E. Branch Whitewater River on NW 150th St.). Public Works Director Curtis Mader said the existing T-beam structure has shifted and developed cracks that pose a safety hazard, and the project was part of the 2025 Capital Improvement Plan.
