Commissioner Rick Shriver nominated Morgan Trinkle to serve as Chairman of the County Commission for the current year; the nomination was seconded by Commissioner Thomas W Jones III and passed 3-0. Staff also reported that senior services grant forms required a state fiscal-year correction from 2026 to 2027 and additional certifications and assurances from the granting agency were requested and resigned as needed.
