The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office disclosed that it received a 2008 MMRAP armored vehicle through the LESO program, officials told the commission Jan. 12. Max Barrett presented the notification, stating federal rules require public disclosure of certain military-grade equipment acquisitions; the department’s only cost associated with the transfer was shipping.
