Committee forwards four WellWise board nominations to full Jackson County board
The Human Services Committee nominated or re-nominated Carissa Barton, Robert Harvey, Ken Wyatt and Lisa Malletic for WellWise or affiliated public seats and voted to forward those names as recommendations to the full County Board of Commissioners; several nominations were reported as passing 3–1 in committee votes.

The Jackson County Human Services Committee considered multiple nominations for public seats on the WellWise Area Agency on Aging board and voted to forward its recommendations to the full County Board of Commissioners for final appointment. Commissioner Snell nominated Carissa Barton for the veterans affairs spot; the committee voted to forward Barton to the full board with a recommendation for approval. "I'll nominate Carissa Barton," said Commissioner Snell during the nominations period.
