Commissioners approved a panel that will include two sheriffs from adjacent counties, one sheriff from a county with an Indian reservation, the county auditor, the state's attorney, Commissioners Horner and Cook, and an HR adviser from the Pierce County Correctional Center. Clerk (speaker 4) cautioned that including three commissioners on the interview panel could create a quorum and thus trigger meeting-notice and minute-taking requirements.
