Commissioners approve routine bids, agreements and move to executive session

At their June 15 meeting, the Tulsa County Board of County Commissioners approved a package of routine administrative items, ranging from minutes and inventory certifications to contract addendums and utility permits. During the bid-openings segment staff listed bidders for a concrete repair on 86th Street North (Cherokee Pride Construction Inc.; Kerns Construction Inc.; Ellis Concrete Construction; Grama Line Construction LLC) and the board referred the bids to procurement and engineering for review and recommendation.
The board moved through action items A–R by motion, second and roll-call affirmations, approving new procurement officers, resolutions on disposition of cash funds, engineers' filings, various agreements and renewals, sole-source approvals, travel and training items, claims disallowances, and construction program payments. A motion to go into executive session was made, seconded and approved by roll call; after executive session the chair announced possible action on those items and the meeting adjourned. "Motion to go into executive session," a commissioner stated during the meeting, and later the chair declared, "We're adjourned."
