Emergency management warns of severe spring storms; winds expected through night

Greg Morgan, emergency management, told the Board of County Commissioners the spring weather pattern could bring severe conditions and advised caution for tonight and tomorrow morning. "The severe storms have been pushed off pretty much to tonight," Morgan said, and he added that there would be "lots of wind today" with the advisory in effect "up until 9PM."
Morgan said severe storm chances were otherwise low but emphasized monitoring conditions and contacting emergency management if problems arise. "Tomorrow morning's commute is probably gonna be pretty ugly with the severe weather most likely being overnight and tomorrow morning," he said, urging residents and county staff to remain prepared.
