IT Coordinator Jeff Butler presented a quote from Hedland Electric to isolate critical IT circuits (server room, dispatch/console room and radio room) from a large battery backup that contributed to earlier outage problems. Butler said isolating those circuits onto separate generator-backed circuits and removing the short‑duration UPS dependency would improve reliability; the quote was $3,484 and the board approved the work not to exceed that amount.
