The Union School District 5 board accepted a resignation and approved several recommended hires during its regular meeting. Chair (speaker 2) read a letter identified as concerning Harold Wyatt and signed 'Caroline' that stated the employee will relocate to Colorado and be available to assist with transition at the completion of the 2024–25 school year. The board moved and—by voice vote—approved accepting the resignation.
