Marshall County authorizes road-permit signatories for oversized loads
The board adopted Resolution 2026-0002 (3-0) authorizing the County Engineer and named Secondary Road Department employees to issue special permits for oversized or overweight loads on county secondary roads under Iowa Code Chapter 321E.

On Jan. 2, 2026 the Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 2026-0002 to authorize the Marshall County Engineer and specified Secondary Roads employees (Paul Geilenfeldt, Bruce Dieken, Lisa Reeder, Jill Tompkins) to issue and sign special movement permits for vehicles or loads exceeding statutory dimensions on county secondary roads, under Iowa Code Chapter 321E. The motion was moved by Supervisor Carol Hibbs and seconded by Supervisor Kevin Goodman; the resolution was adopted 3-0.
