"Perhaps there could be some revisions to this policy structure that should be included, in a petition, at that time, what the duration is gonna be," Blickett said, urging clearer upfront information for homeowners.
Hawthorne confirmed the county staff'prepared materials include a prepayment deadline (Aug. 28, 2026, at noon) and that the commissioners have authority over the assessment term. The board affirmed the previously proposed 10-year repayment term and voted to approve the resolution establishing the special assessments for the Peterson Ranch Road Benefit District.
