The Kaufman County Commissioners Court approved a series of deputations and contract assignments for Precinct 2 on April 7. Constable Johnson presented the requests, saying Lynn Poston currently works with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office and has five years of service; the court approved deputation and assignment to a Windmill Farms patrol contract position after motions and oral votes.
