A speaker representing community programming requested the court continue a modest $29 stipend that the commissioners had provided previously for the Scribe Stoppers program. Staff (S3) said last year’s event was successful and the program drew public interest in the courthouse foyer. Commissioners agreed to retain the funding and discussed a small reduction in the 2027 budget (the proposed figure discussed was $2,900 for the line item).
