Andrew Avis, Public Works Director, presented requested variances for the Sagebrush Acres subdivision seeking privately maintained streets, a reduced width of 20 feet and caliche surfacing instead of asphalt. Commissioner Dianne Anderson objected, saying the County should not alter established standards. The developer’s representative, Ed Armond of Magrym Consulting, noted the subdivision would have an HOA and deed restrictions, and that the developer would manage road maintenance.
