Capital Projects Manager Jesse Ferguson updated the court on several county construction projects. Ferguson reported the new jail construction is currently 57% complete. He said the permanent jail sewer project is nearing completion and the Justice of the Peace (JP) building is expected to be completed in March 2026.
Ferguson described the Medical Examiner building as in very early stages and the Juvenile Justice building as awaiting estimates and design documents expected in March. The West County drainage project remains in the design phase. The minutes cite Exhibits 329-331 for supporting materials.
The court acknowledged the update; no formal actions were taken on these capital projects during the meeting.
