Parker County approves extra transfer for Historical Commission
The court approved an additional transfer to the Parker County Historical Commission to cover projects and a matching‑grant program after the commission requested a larger FY2024–25 allocation than currently budgeted.

Bridal McClurkin, representing the Parker County Historical Commission, asked the court to increase the commission’s transfer for the current fiscal year to support construction plans, outreach and a matching‑grant program. Finance staff told the court the budget currently includes a $24,000 transfer from the general fund while the Historical Commission requested $35,750, meaning an additional $11,750 would be required if the court funds the full request.
