At the public-comment portion of the Aug. 20 meeting, Christopher Jenkins told the Salary Grievance Committee he had been forced through eviction proceedings three times and said he filed legal actions (a temporary restraining order and a permanent injunction) involving Precinct 5 constable staff. Jenkins alleged that officers "didn't bother to show up to court" and that he ultimately prevailed.
