After an executive session held under cited Texas Government Code sections, the Cameron County Commissioners Court returned to open session and took several actions. The court approved compensation for employees in specified departments (public works, emergency management, fire marshal, county judge's office, sheriff, and parks) at 1.5 times their hourly wage for overtime tied to the county judge's disaster declaration dated June 16, 2026.
