During routine business, the Cameron County Commissioners Court approved several procurement and contract items on the consent agenda. The court authorized use of contract TXMAS-23-92001 with Cofile Technologies Inc. for a criminal case preservation and case filing project, approved a sole-source contract (IC1086) with NEEMO for imaging and cloud service preservation of court records, and approved a 60-month lease/purchase through Xerox Omnia (contract R241205) for Court at Law No. 3, each subject to legal review where noted.
An agreement with Superior Alarms and Cameron County Public Health to upgrade access-control software at the San Benito Annex (by-board contract 751-24) was tabled for later consideration. The claims docket was approved as presented; the auditor reported general claims totaling $11,991,521 and medical claims totaling $906,337, and payroll estimated at gross $5,600,870 (net $3,000,528) for the upcoming pay period.
Motions on the consent items were moved and seconded by commissioners during the meeting and recorded as carried. Commissioners noted one abstention on a warrant during claims approval.
