Commissioners approve drainage improvement contract actions and change order to finalize park paving work

Calhoun County commissioners approved actions related to both a drainage-improvement project and a paving/sidewalk contract for Bill Savage Park. For the drainage project (GLO contract #22-085-014-D245), staff outlined site additions including pavement extension on 9th Street, inlet and junction box adjustments, added seal force, pipe extensions and headwall work; the court authorized the certificate and signature authority to finalize the contractor’s payment and closeout.
