Commissioners adopt overtime policy to limit midyear budget risk

The judge called the motion, it was seconded and the court adopted the policy. The judge announced "Motion passes. 4 to 1." Several commissioners said the policy should be paired with regular relief-factor updates and continued collaboration with the sheriff's office to limit midyear staffing shocks.
