Commissioners transfer two vehicles to Elections and clarify surplus proceeds
The court transferred a 2008 Ford Econoline (from sheriff) and a 2020 Ford Explorer (from Road & Bridge Precinct 2) to Elections and amended the motion so proceeds from future surplus sales will return to the originating departments (Explorer to Precinct 2; Econoline to the sheriff).

EJ Harbin told the court two county vehicles would be transferred to the Elections Office: a 2008 Ford Econoline extended van from the sheriff's office and a 2020 Ford Explorer from Road & Bridge Precinct 2. Harbin said the sheriff had asked that proceeds from the eventual disposal of the Econoline be returned to the sheriff's department.
