The Ellis County Commissioners Court unanimously adopted a resolution on March 17 supporting April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and the local "Paint the Town Blue" campaign led by the Ellis County Children's Advocacy Center. The judge read the resolution and invited volunteers who work with the Children's Advocacy Center to come forward for recognition.
