Unity Recovery recognized as Parker County proclaims National Recovery Month
The court proclaimed September 2024 as National Recovery Month in Parker County at Unity Recovery’s request; Unity Recovery said it completed over 1,500 engagements and can house up to 20 pregnant and parenting women seeking recovery services.

The County Judge introduced a proclamation recognizing September 2024 as National Recovery Month in Parker County at the request of Unity Recovery. Melissa Simmons of Unity Recovery told the court the organization, nearing two years of operation, has recorded more than 1,500 one-on-one engagements in the last year and helped over 250 people access services for recovery, housing, employment and documents.
