Federal Engineering hired for county radio-system study; project to contact stakeholders

Lee said he had a pre-meeting scheduled with the project manager and that Federal Engineering’s contract targets completion by the end of the calendar year.
The consultant will inventory existing public-safety radio infrastructure, contact stakeholders including the TV district, Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service and municipal agencies, and assess coverage and future needs. Staff said more details will be provided as Federal Engineering begins stakeholder outreach and field assessment work.
