County GIS technician reports new address points, ESN mapping work
Andrew Meek told the Elko County Enhanced 911 Board that 47 county address points and 89 City of Elko points were added, new subdivision roads and cisterns were recorded, and ESN (emergency service number) mapping for wireless/VoIP remains a work in progress ahead of a Motorola/Spillman update.

Andrew Meek, the Elko County GIS technician, updated the board on mapping and addressing work, saying, “47 address points have been added to Elko County since our last meeting” and that an additional 89 City of Elko address points were recently incorporated after a longstanding technical issue was temporarily fixed. Meek said he also added three new subdivision road names (Sofia's, Catherine's and Amaya's Way) and several fire-protection cisterns to the county GIS.
