West Wendover reports downtown infrastructure completed; fire station construction under way
The City of West Wendover presented its debt management report, saying most debt is consolidated tax revenue bonds and USDA RD loans tied to a downtown development phase completed last November and a fire station project now under construction.

Alina Savalo, CFO for the City of West Wendover, told the commission that the city's majority debt is consolidated tax revenue bonds and USDA Rural Development loans associated with a downtown development infrastructure project (phase one) and the city's fire station. "The downtown development project was...finished last November," Savalo said, and she reported that construction on the fire station has started.
