Council backs ACHD draft five-year work program, asks mayor to send letter of support

Council members raised priorities and asked whether the mayor should advocate swapping or reprioritizing projects; Councilmember 7 moved that the mayor send a letter in support, and the motion passed. Councilmember Kwame asked that the mayor also inquire about using roundabouts “where appropriate” for intersection improvements. "We can certainly say support for roundabouts if that's a directive from the council," Barrett Spencer told the council.
