The Elko TV District board voted to hire Diversified Consulting Services (DCS) as the district’s on‑call engineering firm for future projects. Ray, a board member who served on the scoring committee, said DCS scored “significantly ahead” of the other bidder and recommended the board approve the contract. The motion carried after a roll‑call voice vote; one board member recused because he formerly worked for DCS and Kent recorded an abstention.
