The Howard County Commissioners Court voted to accept a $45,000 grant from the G.C. Broughton Foundation intended to support a sheriff’s department purchase. Chair reported the gift amount during the meeting and Commissioner Long moved to accept the donation; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
