The commissioners designated Jackie Haynes as Burnet County’s Title VI coordinator by unanimous vote July 7 (motion by Commissioner Joe Don Dockery; second by Commissioner Chad Collier). Haynes and Colleen Davis, First Assistant County Attorney, spoke on the item. The court also reviewed the Title VI Compliance Nondiscrimination Statement, Title VI/Nondiscrimination Assurances, and the Title VI/Nondiscrimination Plan required to remain a TxDOT grant subrecipient, but no formal action was taken on those documents at this meeting.
