At its March 10 meeting the Tioga County Board of Commissioners approved several significant contracts and agreements affecting county infrastructure and natural‑resource assets. The board approved a $63,954 contract with MCM Consulting Group to update the countywide hazard mitigation plan; the minutes state the expense is 100% grant funded. The board also approved a scope of work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a detailed base flood elevation study extending from Elkland to the Potter County border.
