Nick Lewis, Maintenance Supervisor, briefed commissioners on ongoing courthouse-lawn tree issues, saying that since 1987 the county has removed 29 trees and replanted 28, with 20 still alive. He asked that four large, older oak trees be removed — one by Road & Bridge and three by outside contractors.
