RPC recommends Master Plan amendment for Rose Creek parcels to County Commission
The commission voted to recommend approval of a Master Plan amendment changing several parcels near Rose Creek Road from Medium Density Residential to Commercial. Residents raised concerns about buffers, water, notification and existing residential development; the decision is a recommendation to the County Commission.

The Humboldt County Regional Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of Master Plan amendment MP-24-02, requested by property owner Miguel Esquibel (Dinero Ranch, LLC), to change several parcels off Rose Creek Road from Medium Density Residential (MDR) to Commercial (COMM) on the Master Plan map.
